REFINE MaxCure9 Light Cure
The dental light curing device is used in restorative dental treatments and for curing dental materials. REFINE light cures are among the most powerful yet economical units, available in various models designed for different dental operations at different price points. The Refine MaxCure9 offers curing capability in just 1 second, allowing it to cure 2mm of dental resin within that time.
It features two operating modes:
High intensity with an output power of 2500 mW/cm2, suitable for curing orthodontic brackets, post and core, and for curing veneers, cements, and bonding agents.
General intensity with an output power of 1200 mW/cm2, suitable for regular curing procedures.
Most dental resins on the market contain CQ (with an active light range of 420–480 nm) as the photoinitiator for curing. However, newer generations have shifted to TPO (with an active light range of 380–440 nm). Older light curing devices only support wavelengths between 420–480 nm, which limits their ability to cure newer materials. The Refine MaxCure9 Light Cure, however, offers a wide wavelength range of 385–515 nm, allowing it to effectively cure all dental materials.
