Falcon Forceps Clamp
The Falcon Forceps Clamp is an instrument designed to assist in placing the clamp onto the tooth. This product has a forceps-like shape, and the edges feature small hooks that fit securely into the holes of the clamp. It opens the clamp and positions it on the tooth at the correct angle. Once the clamp is released, it remains firmly in place.
Instrument Cleaning Method
Wash all instruments thoroughly with water, soap, and a brush while wearing thick gloves, ensuring that all grooves and serrations are free from blood or any other contamination. Immediately rinse any blood-contaminated instruments with cold water after use, as blood coagulates over time and becomes difficult to clean. Additionally, microorganisms present in blood may survive the sterilization process.
Next, immerse the instruments in a disinfectant solution and place them in an ultrasonic cleaner. After this step, perform a second manual wash, dry the instruments carefully, and then pack and sterilize them in an autoclave. Do not soak the instruments in disinfectant solution for too long; the maximum recommended time is 10 minutes.
Avoid piling instruments on top of each other, and place heavier tools at the bottom of the container. To prevent corrosion and rust transfer, separate damaged instruments and unlock any locked or hinged parts before sterilization.
